CHAPTER I

ORIGIN WOUND OF THE SOVEREIGN MIND

WHEN THE WORLD TEACHES YOU HOW TO PERFORM, BUT NOT HOW TO BE YOU

You grew up learning how to win at the visible things — grades, teams, jobs, content, hustle. On paper, you are disciplined, driven, and creative, but inside, something feels off: the better you get at playing the game, the less the game feels like yours.

You learned how to present yourself to be liked, hired, or followed, but not always how to express yourself in a way that feels true. Slowly, your sovereign mind was trained to outsource itself to trends, algorithms, expectations, and unspoken rules — and you can feel yourself going quiet inside.

You don't want another identity to wear; you want a way back to your own. Not a new performance — a return to the sovereign mind beneath the performance.

WHEN FASHION BECAME THE COSTUME, AND NOT THE LANGUAGE

In the culture around you, fashion became a costume instead of a language. What you wear signals status, tribe, or rebellion, but rarely helps anyone understand who you are beneath the surface.

Self-expression is optimized for engagement, not for truth; "dreaming" is printed on artifacts but rarely practiced as a discipline of knowing oneself. Most brands either sell image or sell inspiration, but neither helps you translate what you feel into who you are.

The system’s code was installed on you the moment school began. You slowly accepted it as normal until you started to wake up. It taught you to obey, avoid hard questions, stay polished, on-brand, optimized. OBAY DI DREAM is for the moment you realize the script was never yours. Our Artifacts are built to help you remember who you already are.

THE PROTAGONIST'S PATH

Artifact Box
CITIZEN'S NAME: THE GLITCH

This world hands you tools, not costumes. Signals, not slogans. Artifacts, not aesthetics. You enter the City the way a writer opens a blank page — not searching for a better version of yourself, but returning to the one that was never broken: the sovereign mind beneath the noise.

Your path begins with a simple realization: You were never lost. You were translated. Now you are learning your own language again.

CHAPTER III

THE INSIGHT

Founder
THE TRANSLATION

I didn’t build OBAY DI DREAM from theory — I lived this tension in my own body. I crossed aerial borders from Jamaica to the U.S. chasing freedom for the right to live and to dream; then entered the corporate world and became fluent in performance — reshaping my accent, my body, my work ethic, even my culture just to fit the box.

On the outside, the formula worked: discipline, grind, and translation of self into whatever version the room required. On the inside, it felt like a slow erasure. Each victory cost a small silence — a joke not told, a perspective swallowed, a part of myself muted to fit.

Eventually, I realized that success without self is still a form of loss. That realization was the origin wound: to be heard, I had unconsciously turned down the volume on who I really was — suppressing the sovereign mind before I could speak.

RECLAIM AUTHORSHIP

The Origin Story is not about where we came from — it's about where you're going.
It's about choosing presence over performance.
It's about remembering that your original language — the sovereign mind's native tongue — was never broken.
