Who We Are.
OBAY DI DREAM (ODD) is a Brooklyn-based transmedia brand built for the sovereign mind. Founded on the philosophy and history of the Jamaican Maroons — a people who fought for and won their freedom from the British Empire in 1739 — ODD engineers wearable artifacts designed to disrupt social conditioning and restore presence.
Every artifact carries a signal. Every piece of content extends a universe. The brand operates across physical product, cinematic storytelling, and a conceptual world called Maroon City — a territory built on principles, not geography, where the characters, lore, and artifacts live.
ODD is not a fashion brand. It is a cultural operating system for those who refuse the script.
The Signal Source.
OBAY DI DREAM was founded by Prince Davis — a Brooklyn-based Jamaican creative director, designer, and builder operating at the intersection of philosophy, streetwear, and cinematic world-building.
Born from personal experience with systems that demand conformity, ODD was built as a direct refusal. The brand's foundation in Jamaican Maroon history is not aesthetic — it is ancestral. The Maroons were the first people in the Western hemisphere to fight for and legally win their freedom. That act of sovereignty is the brand's operating principle.
Prince builds everything solo — product development, creative direction, Shopify architecture, AI-assisted content, and brand strategy — from Brooklyn.
